Laminate Floors

Laminated Flooring is made to look like natural products such as wood flooring or natural stone, yet is made up of either synthetic materials (usually melamine resin) or of synthetic materials combined with natural and recycled ingredients and covered with an attached decorative applique including an aluminum oxide finish. Laminate flooring has a dense inner core and a glued-on layer or fused layers of outer material. Unlike most hardwoods,

Laminates are quite dent-resistant.

 

Hardwood (Raw) Flooring

Genuine hardwood is real wood, through and through, providing warmth, character and the elegance to the client. The hardwood family of floors is large and varied. Raw hardwood is feature grade to premium grade; they are normally glued and nailed to a wooden sub floor or to 19mm battens. Most are 18mm - 19mm thick and require sanding varnishing or oiling.

Pre finished hardwood

Is hardwood that has been coated in a factory with a UV resistant lacquer no sanding or varnished required after installation.

Engineered hardwood

Is 100% wood. It is manufactured by permanently bonding together multiple layers of solid wood in a cross-ply construction. Engineered hardwood, typically 15mm thick, is designed to have superior strength and moisture/humidity resistance. Engineered wood can be laid by the floating method or glued directly to the subfloor.

Bamboo Flooring

Bamboo flooring is one of the hardest natural materials available for flooring and is an excellent alternative to hard wood flooring. Bamboo has a higher fibre rating than any hard wood, which gives it exceptional hard wearing qualities. This natural bamboo flooring solution is available in six different styles, which will compliment any interior design. From ultra contemporary chic through to a more traditional classic style, natural bamboo flooring will give you a truly unique look. Because bamboo is a rapid growing grass and not wood, it can be harvested every 3-5 years, unlike 15-25 years for most wood. This makes bamboo a very environmentally friendly product for flooring.
